In general, providing the children with whatever they ask for and allowing the children to act as per their wish without any restrictions is not a good way to raise children. This practice makes them think that things are easy to get and often take them granted. They might not develop the patience to attain the things in their life. Also, it makes them to spend money on things that are not necessary and buy unwanted things just for fantasy and to show off among their friends.
One of the major consequences of this type of parenting is the children might develop a stubborn character which is not psychologically good for them. They will expect everything they wish for should happen immediately without any effort and, they might feel down when they face failures in their lives. Another major effect is they might do whatever they want, without realizing how this will affect other people’s life. This character is not good for them as well as their families and their sub ordinates. Consequently, they will be hated by their friends and families for the things they have done.
In conclusion, giving complete freedom to children to do whatever they want and buying things they wish for is a not good way to raise children and the consequences were discussed in the above paragraphs.
