Fame can come with problems for well-known people. Some celebrities complain that their private lives are publicized too much.

Celebrities can benefit from their personal lives being publicized. When the media cover their personal lives, more people talk about them. Consequently, these famous people can become more famous and such famous people can gain followers on their social media platforms, such as Instagram. This can create opportunities to make a huge sum of money. In this situation, companies ask these well-known people to endorse a product on their social media platforms. For example, an actress can put on mascara and post a photo of herself on her Instagram and by showing her daily skin routine, endorse a product.

However, not all celebrities are interested in making more money by being publicized. It is a human right to have privacy. They have the right to be able to go to an ordinary restaurant with their loved ones without having their pictures taken. This can cause mental problems for them and their loved ones. They have to always think about what to wear to look stylish and fashionable even when they go shopping at a nearby shop. This can cause extra pressure on them.

In conclusion, in my opinion, while celebrities can benefit from being publicized financially and make a lot of money, not all famous people want to make more money. Many might prefer to have their own privacy, since they do not want to be followed by paparazzi everywhere they go.
