What You'll Find In This Report

The letter effectively addresses the prompt by clearly stating the reasons against the rent increase and the consequences if the rent is increased. The tone is semi-formal, which is appropriate for a letter to a landlord. The structure is logical, with a clear opening, body, and closing. However, there are minor grammatical errors and some awkward phrasing that could be improved. The vocabulary is varied but could benefit from more precise collocations. Overall, the letter achieves its purpose but would benefit from more polished language and grammar.

Dear Mr. Ben,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I would like to inform you that our one-year housing lease at 1, ABX is completing on 31st May. We would like to express our interest to continue the lease for another year provided the rent is not increased.

As per the current housing market in Canada, Ontario I have seen that the rents have reduced. Matter of fact, There are many condos in our building leased with lesser rents. I request you to please consider not increasing the rent and we would pay the same rent going forward. you can plan to increase the rent according to house market trend.

If you are not willing to consider our request, then we are left with no option but to vacate the house. I hope to get positive response from you and waiting to hear you soon.

Thanks,
Mary
