The proposition that environmental problems are too colossal to be solved by individuals sparks considerable debate. While acknowledging potential challenges, I firmly believe that this issue should be managed in cooperation between all states around the world. My rationale will be elaborated upon in subsequent paragraphs.
Firstly, environmental problems such as ice melting, soil pollution, water acidification, migration of various animal species, sea level rise, and drought have a profound effect on global warming in today’s world. Around the world, ecological footprints can be widely observed in various places. Consequently, given these circumstances, only international cooperation offers an unparalleled opportunity to take measures together, paving the way for sustained prosperity. This stems from financial support from well-developed countries. As a case in point, retrospectively, Europe and the USA helped Japan by virtue of the nuclear power plant accident. Furthermore, the entrenchment of global cooperation could reinforce the management of solving ample global issues.
Another multifaceted benefit of international cooperation is a step to provide the disruptive technologies to developing countries. For instance, Germany has a knowledgeable labor force and helps Morocco or China to achieve the climate neutrality. As claimed by statistics, throughout the long term, European states reduced the emissions. However, the figures for India experienced a substantial upturn. This, in turn, demonstrates world inequality. Otherwise, air pollution faces dire ramifications for the society, because life expectancy will decrease sharply.
In conclusion, the environmental problems are definitely international, since one country does not have a plethora of capabilities to reach the climate neutrality. Of equal importance is sensitizing the global public to world cooperation with governments.
