What You'll Find In This Report

Barbara's letter effectively addresses the prompt by detailing the garbage problem, its causes, its impact, and suggesting solutions. The tone is appropriately formal, fitting for a complaint letter to an environment officer. The structure is clear with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there are minor grammatical errors and some awkward phrasing that slightly affect clarity. The vocabulary is varied but could be more precise in places. Overall, the letter achieves its purpose but would benefit from tighter grammar and more polished vocabulary.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to bring in your notice the developing problem of garbage that is causing concern in our neighbourhood, particularly around the community hall.

My name is Barbara Jones and I am a resident of Harmony Haven Society for the past 10 years. As per my observation, the main reason behind this problem of garbage is improper disposing of waste because of lack of appropriate infrastructure for waste management. Furthermore, the situation is made worse by the lack of regular waste collection services, which permits accumulation of trash.

Not only is our community's growing trash problem affecting the appeal and beauty of the surroundings, but it also poses a risk to everyone's health and safety. The collection of waste lowers the quality of life for locals by attracting pests and creating environmental risks.

Through this letter, I would like to suggest some useful solutions for this problem. Firstly, the waste collection frequency should be increased to guarantee timely removal of trash from residential areas. Moreover, regulations such as should be strictly reinforced. According to me, by putting these strategies into practice, we can successfully deal with the trash issue in our community.

I respectfully ask for your immediate attention to this matter and would appreciate any help or advice you can give in getting this resolved.

Yours faithfully,
Barbara Jones
