I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to apologize for not returning the book that I borrowed from you last month.
If you recall, last month we were discussing reading romantic novels and you suggested reading "Everyone has a Story" by Savi Sharma. Since the book was not available in the nearby store, you lent me yours.
I read half the story in the first week but then I got busy with my pre-medical exams and forgot about the book. Today, while cleaning the shelves, I found it with a bookmark on page 162 and I started reading it again.
I know you are a novel enthusiast and feel pride in decorating them in your small library. I really feel sorry that I was unable to return the book on time. I will personally handover it to you in two days.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience caused by me.
Thankyou
Kind regards,
John
